Perform disk authoring operations to generate images of DVDs with different regional and functional parameters like double layers. Select the disk type, control the amount of available volume, add media content in WAV, FLAC, MP3, or AIF format. Add compatibility with media players, playlists, etc.
DVD-Audio Solo Standard is a DVD authoring tool that helps you create DVD-audio discs using any combination of your favorite WAV, FLAC, MP3, or AIF audio files (among others), with or without still pictures. The resulting DVDs offer you high-quality 5.1 surround sound up to 96 kHz, and the program supports both DVD5 and DVD9 recordable discs.
With this application you can also import audio files from standard audio CDs or audio DVDs, provided they are not protected. Another possible source for your audio tracks is the program’s built-in recording engine, which allows you to create your own live recordings using an external microphone, the line-in port, or your system’s sound card.
The quality of the output audio is probably the program’s main asset. You can change your compressed audio files (ranging from lossless FLAC to lossy MP3) into uncompressed PCM, either in stereo mode or in 5.1 surround sound.
It is important to mention that, as it also happens with other Cirlinca products, DVD-Audio Solo comes with some basic accessibility features that allow blind and visually impaired persons to make use of this tool. The features supported are the use of Microsoft’s TTS (text-to-speech) voices for status and progress messages, and the option to enlarge some of the fonts for an easier selection of the audio files.
